Description
This 100 % pure essential Swiss stone pine oil (Pinus cembra) from the Alps is gently obtained by steam distillation of the needles, shoot tips, cones and small resin-rich branches. Nothing is added and nothing is diluted.
It suits a sauna infusion — always diluted in the water, never on hot stones — or simply a room. Three to five drops are enough for a scent cube or bowl, two to four drops per 100 ml of water in an ultrasonic diffuser. More oil does not give a nicer scent, only a sharper one. It carries a pleasantly dry, spicy fragrance that many people find restful.
Contains alpha-pinene, dipentene, beta-pinene, beta-phellandrene and beta-caryophyllene. May cause an allergic skin reaction. Not to be applied undiluted to the skin and not to be swallowed.
